Jillian Noel Hennely was born on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a renowned Canadian actor and singer who has made an important contribution to American TV. Her most well-known work is her stunning performances in the American television shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy's acting skills were also on display in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent film, she exercised co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy began her acting career alongside her sister in 1988 playing twin call girls in Dead Ringers. She appeared briefly in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in Broadway in 1990. Then, in 1993 the actress stepped out of the world of musicals and into the sci-fi genre as Dr. Marie Lazarus. Her big break came later that year when she joined the cast of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Parker is a regular in a number of movies and television shows, such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys of the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. For these roles she received the Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker has also been awarded the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in Broadway's play Proof.
