Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haughton burst into fame in 1994 after she debuted her first album Age Ain't nothing but a number. She was only 15 at when the album was released and it went on to become Gold. R. Kelly was a significant influence in this project which brought her into the spotlight. The year 1996 saw her release her second album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album contained the number one hit track If Your Girl only knew. Aaliyah was a well-known R&B artist after her album's release. She starred with martial arts legend Jet Li in 2000's romance-action film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, a film producer at an award show in which she was cast, noticed her. The film she was in was the film based on Anne Rice, a vampire movie Queen of the Damned, that came out in 2002. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She had also appeared as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). The artist has won four Grammy nominations for the year 1999, 2001 and 2002, 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is an Indian-American of one generation who was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation used for her married first name Mankad. But, she has both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for her professional names. While her initial career was filled with minor films and television parts, she gained recognition in the latter half of 2000s. Her other notable projects include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She has appeared in numerous commercials for Volvo's international automobile manufacturer. She lives at Los Angeles along with her husband, daughter and pursues her acting profession.
